What is Counselling?
Counselling is a 'talking therapy'.
Working with a qualified counsellor, they will enable you to talk about your thoughts and feelings.
As your counsellor, my aim is to create a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space in which you can express yourself and identify what is going on for you.
My role is not to advise you, although I may challenge certain perspectives and offer fresh ideas or coping strategies, instead I will listen empathically to whatever you wish to share as we explore your story.
Ultimately, I am here to assist you on your journey, to help you move forward in the direction you choose and to help you find a path toward change.
